What to Expect in EHS, Risk & Sustainability at SPF EMEA

Safe Operations Track (Occupational Safety)

The Safe Operations track features an impressive cast of speakers from client, analyst and partner firms. First, CH2M, a global engineering company, will kick-off the track by sharing its expertise accumulated from implementing EHS systems over many years. Second, you’ll learn from Owens-Illinois key lessons from their implementation of the Enablon platform for EHS management and reporting. Finally, David Metcalfe, CEO and Founding Director at Verdantix, an independent research and consulting firm, will join Phil Tesler, President & Co-Chief Executive Officer at Enablon, and the two executives will talk about technology innovations in the world of safety and other topics.

Enterprise Control Track (Risk Management)

The SPF EMEA track on risk management includes a wide array of companies sharing their perspectives, five to be exact. EY (formerly Ernst & Young), a multinational professional services firm, will kick-off the track by talking about building an agile risk management program. This track also features two case studies. The first is from Engie (formerly GDF Suez), a global energy leader, who will describe the use of Enablon solutions for internal control and operational risk supervision. The second is from Valeo, an automotive supplier and partner to automakers worldwide, who will give more details on the implementation project of the Enablon GRC solution, as well as results and key success factors. But it doesn’t end there. The track also includes a panel discussion on integrated risk management with EY, PwC, one of the largest professional services firms, and Millicom, an international telecommunications and media company.

World-Class Compliance Track

If you sell your products in the European market, whether you’re based in Europe or elsewhere, the World-Class Compliance track will provide valuable insights on product and EHS regulations affecting your organization. The track features a session from 3E Company, a provider of data and information services to comply with EHS regulations and supply chain obligations through the entire lifecycle of chemicals and products. Learn from 3E how to ensure compliance to maintain your products on the market. The track also features a case study from Teva Pharmaceuticals, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, on deploying common EHS management standards and practices throughout the organization with Enablon, to ensure EHS compliance.

Business Efficiency Track (Sustainability and Analytics)

Last but not least, this SPF EMEA track features expertise shared by CDP, the Carbon Disclosure Project. Attendees will learn about the evolution of reporting, the transition to a low-carbon economy, how investors use data provided to CDP, and reimagining disclosure through the inclusion of sectors and the task force on climate-related financial disclosure. The track also includes a case study from Norsk Hydro, one of the largest aluminium companies in the world, on using Enablon for extra-financial reporting and how it reduces the risk of non-compliance.
