5 Companies Recognized for Excellence at SPF EMEA 2018

One of the most exciting parts of SPF EMEA is when the excellence awards are distributed after a long, productive and insightful day.

This year, the Enablon Excellence Awards were attributed on a Bateau Mouche, right before the gala dinner and a boat ride on the river Seine in Paris.

The Enablon Excellence Awards recognize organizations that are leading the way in the industry, and that effectively leverage technology to improve EHS, risk management and sustainability performance, and enable operational excellence.

Award winners contribute greatly to the Enablon community and successfully use the Enablon platform to make a difference for their employees, customers, and the local communities where they operate. Here are the winners announced yesterday:

Positive Impact Award: Anglo American

Awarded to the organization that has a successful use of Enablon bringing direct benefits to its employees, customers, and community.

Anglo American is a globally diversified mining business. The company produces diamonds, copper, platinum group metals, iron ore, manganese, coal and nickel. Anglo American is based South Africa and the UK, and has mining operations in Africa, Australia and the Americas.

Excellence in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC): AccorHotels

Awarded to the organization that uses Enablon to successfully manage internal controls and internal audits across the enterprise.

AccorHotels is a global hospitality company with 250,000 employees. The Group operates 4,300 hotels in 100 countries. AccorHotels owns over 20 brands of hotels, from luxury to economy. AccorHotels is one of the largest hotel groups in the world, and largest outside of the U.S.

Excellence in EHS Performance: MOL Group

Awarded to the organization that uses Enablon to successfully reduce their environmental impacts and/or enhance safety performance, and increase their overall EHS performance.

MOL Group is a leading integrated Central & East European oil and gas corporation headquartered in Hungary. The company has operations in over 30 countries and employs 25,000 people globally. MOL’s exploration and production activities are supported by more than 75 years of experience.

Technology Partner of the Year: TapRooT

Awarded to the partner with innovative technological solutions that has successfully integrated its solutions with the Enablon platform to increase value for Enablon clients.

TapRooT offers root cause analysis software, training and consulting globally. The TapRooT software guides users through the incident investigation process with ease. The company’s solutions are used by leading companies  to investigate and fix the root causes of all types of mission-critical problems.

EMEA Partner of the Year: Laragon

Awarded to the partner that has played a critical role in making sure that the Enablon platform addresses all key client requirements and ensuring project success.

Laragon is a consulting firm specializing in projects of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability. The company implements high-impact and long range solutions to align organizations with their sustainability strategies. Laragon also helps companies create and deploy their models of sustainable development.
