Pete Bussey, Lead Research Analyst for EHS and sustainability management, LNS Research

Pete Bussey is lead Research Analyst for Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and sustainability management at LNS Research. He researches industry trends and best practices, and advises EHS business leaders and technology providers in applying those insights in their organizations.  Pete brings over 25 years of experience focused in EHS management on manufacturing, consulting and information technology organizations. Before LNS, he headed EHS and sustainability go-to-market initiatives at SAP, the global enterprise software company. Pete’s prior industry experience includes corporate and facility EHS practitioner positions at Alcoa, and EHS management consulting to Fortune 500 industrial clients while at Michael Baker Corp. and Arthur D. Little.

Spence Christensen, IT Project Manager, ExxonMobil

Spence Christensen is an IT project manager at ExxonMobil, where he’s worked for 32 years. His IT projects include implementing safety and environmental systems, plant timekeeping solutions, working on four major ERP implementations, data warehouse design and in-plant mobility solutions across ExxonMobil’s global refining an chemicals operations. His other assignments at ExxonMobil have included financial and marketing analyst, computing center manager and retail sales management. Spence earned an MBA from Brigham Young University, is the father of two sons and is a soon-to-be grandfather.


Anna M. Clark, President, EarthPeople Media, Panel Moderator

Anna Clark is an author, freelance journalist and communication strategist for sustainability and social innovation. As president of EarthPeople Media, she writes and consults for startups, Fortune 500s and NGOs including IFC, a division of The World Bank. A featured columnist for Greenbiz.com, Clark also contributes to Guardian Sustainable Business, Huffington Post and Al Jazeera English. She currently serves as Executive in Residence for the University of Dallas Satish and Yasmin Gupta College of Business. She lives with her family in Dallas in one of Texas’ first residences to earn Platinum LEED certification from the US Green Building Council.
